Fragrance Notes

Today my amazing Mark. mentor, Amanda Leigh Heinz, started a lesson on her Facebook page. These lessons are to help us sell and promote Mar. products, and I must say I feel these lessons are going to help a lot. The first lesson is on Fragrances.
Q: What are fragrance notes?
A: Fragrance notes are the difference layers of scent that a fragrance gives off. There are three layers or "notes" to every fragrance.
 TOP NOTE
A top note is your first impression. It’s often light, fresh and
catches your attention.the first thing a person notices when you enter the room
MIDDLE NOTE
The heart or body of a fragrance. It is responsible for the
overall character of a fragrance and for creating its “trail.” what they smell when they are near you 
BASE NOTE
Rich, warm and subdued, these ingredients provide the lasting
impression. 
the scent that lingers when you leave the room or the scent that makes them remember you-               -- Sarah Trostle , Toveh Seibel

Examples that these girls gave to help people understand better were 
Jewel which has a base note of caramel and vanilla

 Sophistique which has a top note of
